This Sunday (3 April) we are holding the first of our INTRODUCTION TO RACING mornings on the river. The first race on Sunday will be designed specially for less experienced members of the club. If you normally crew but rarely helm, if you are a beginner, or if you’re not too sure of all the racing rules, this Sunday morning is for you! Following a suggestion made at the end-of-season meeting in December, boat owners and regular helms have kindly agreed to make their boats and their expertise available, to help relative beginners learn the skills of racing. We are looking forward to some exciting competition on the water, followed by friendly discussion on shore.
