Things to Look Forward To

Sunday 24 April (Easter Sunday) – GP14 team/match racing. A slightly different form of racing, with slightly different rules. Start at 11.00 am, as usual. Even if you’re not a regular GP14 sailor, come and have a go. You might find it addictive.

Wednesday 4 May – start of Wednesday evening series. Start at 7.00 pm. Guaranteed plenty of wind on Wednesday evenings this year…

Saturday 7 May – clean-up in preparation for Open Day. Meet at club house at 1.00 pm. There’s plenty to do!

Sunday 8 May – Open Day, 11.00 am to 4.00 pm. Help needed – as many friendly faces as possible, please!

Saturday 14 May, Saturday 21 May, Tuesday 24 May – RYA level 1 course. We have three people signed up already. Help needed from experienced helms, plus people willing to drive rescue boats. Please add your name to the list in the club house.

Saturday 14 May – barbecue for course participants plus as many members as possible. Food will be provided, so you don’t need to bring your own (but there will be a small charge to cover costs). Start around 3.00 pm. Details to follow.
