Sail for Gold and First Aid Course

To all YRISC members and friends –

REMINDERS: Saturday 9 June (this Saturday) is SAIL FOR GOLD day. We are staging some racing in the centre of York, and need boats to take part. We already have a couple of two-person boats (GP14 and Wanderer), but we also hope to take some Toppers. For those on the water, it will mean being at the club house by 9.30, and probably not getting back until 4.30. Help also required on land (beside the Millennium Bridge).

If you would like to help out, please let Peter Craggs know by 10 p.m. on Wednesday 6 June at the latest via the contact us page!

Saturday 7 July. Mike Craggs is planning to run a first aid course for YRISC members. Specifically, the RYA Small Craft First Aid Course, which is tailored to the needs of dinghy sailors. If you want to attend, you need to Mike know by 4 p.m. on Sunday 10 June via the contact us page.

Oh, and another thing – Ullswater – weekend 30 June/1 July. Are you coming? If so, please let Mike know within the next two weeks, so we can let the campsite have approximate numbers.
