It’s been a bit wet, and we haven’t done much sailing on the river lately – but let’s hope July and August will be better!
A couple of things to note:
Sunday 8 July – In an attempt to complete a bit more of the summer programme, we’re planning to sail four races instead of the usual three. Get there promptly at 10.30 if you can, and be prepared for some good competition on the water.
Sunday 22 July – Instead of the scheduled Sayers Pot, this has been changed into a “Try Sailing” day. A bit like the open day, but more informal. We’re hoping we’ll see a few interested visitors and passers-by eager to have a go. So let’s have a good crowd of club members. Who knows, the weather might even be good, and we might get some good sailing in …
Looking further ahead:
Sunday 2 September – Annual Regatta, hosted this year by Yorkshire Ouse Sailing Club. Details to follow.
